What is an intelligent light?
By definition an intelligent light is a light that can be remotely controlled above and beyond simply being turned on and off. A example of this would be a mac 250. The most popular newest generation of intelligent lighting known as the moving head. This fixture is brighter, more versatile and has the ability to cover more area and deliver greater effects than any of it's predecessors.
Regardless of which lights you choose, an intelligent light system can take your show to another level.
Guru Productions are proud to offer all the above levels of lighting fixtures for your event.
How much time is needed for set up?
We usually require at least 2 hours prior to the event to ensure a proper set up and sound check.

Do you take requests?
Yes
Do you offer video services?
No we don't offer video. Many companies claim to be pros at all aspects of audio/video and will offer you cleverly disguised specials to give you the impression that they are giving you a deal. We cater only to sound and remain true to being pros at what we do best. If Requested we are happy to give referals for those who specialize in videography.
Do you own your equipment?
Yes! We are proud to own all our equipment. We know that many companies chose to rent most of their gear and this would be a good option however there are many things to consider when taking this option.
In our experience those who chose to rent cannot deliver the best sound you deserve or give you the peace of mind you get when you deal with someone who owns the tools of the trade.
Do you have Back up Equipment?
Yes we do have back up gear to remedy most situations. Fortunately we have never had to use our back up gear. This is due in part to proper maintenance, storage and care of our equipment. It also never hurts to use brand names that are for professional use.

Do you have cordless microphones?
Yes we offer a full range of wireless UHF microphones. (Including clip on lavilers) these are used predominately by clergy during wedding ceremonies or by performers who need to speak while there hands are free.
What are Fill/Surround Speakers?
These speakers are added in addition to the main system and are strategically placed in the room to enhance the overall volume levels. These are ideal for events where the dj's system will be used for speeches.
Can you provide sound outdoors?
Yes we can. Based on the logistics of your event we can place one speaker or your entire system outdoors. Ask us if this sounds like something you might require.
Have you done weddings from mixed ethnic backgrounds?
Yes, we have been fortunate to do a variety of mixed weddings over the years to great success. Understanding the needs of our customers insures we can deliver the right mix of music for your guests.
Can your DJ interact with the crowd?
Yes, upon request we can help with introductions, announcements, party games, dance contests etc. Just ask!

We believe our prices reflect the true costs involved with delivering quality. We do not cut corners or compromise quality for price. Would you trust a lawyer who charges $5 an hour?
